Funny Home Video!

Grandma Robinson gave each of the kids a scooter for their birthday. They love to ride them. They both caught on really fast. This video makes me laugh so hard. Not because there is anything really that funny, it's just that Chloee looks so little. This was pretty much her first time riding and it just doesn't seem like she was suppose to be so good and so fast. Connor is really good at riding too!

Happy Birthday Chloee!

Our little princess turned two years old today. She had a Tinkerbell party. Here are a few things about our little two year old........

  • She has a huge vocabulary. She can tell us whatever is on her mind and she usually does.
  • She loves to talk on the phone. She is constantly calling her dad on her pretend phone. She brings me the real phone several times a day and says "call grandma!"
  • She loves anything Tinkerbell, Ariel, and Strawberry Shortcake.
  • She is always so happy when she wakes up in the morning.
  • She loves her brother and she has to do everything that he does.
  • She loves to color.
  • She gets sad every time we drop Connor off at school.
  • She loves cheese, mac n cheese, cheese roll ups, and pretty much anything to do with cheese. She also loves fruit and anything chocolate like her mom and brother.
  • She loves to dance and sing.
  • Her favorite movie right now is Big Sister Dora. She goes around singing " I'm going to be a big sister.... big...... sister..... big ........sister". ( no, she is not really going to be a big sister!!)
  • When we are having family prayer she always says "Bless... Derek... gospel, and spanish ....very good". She learned this from Connor saying it in each of his prayers.
  • She tells us all the time that she loves us. I was doing her hair a couple days ago and she was sitting on the bathroom counter. She looked me right in the eye, rubbed my cheek with her hand, and said "Oh mommy... love you mommy." It melted my heart.
  • She loves pirates, cars, and dinosaurs. She has plenty of girl toys, the others just seem more appealing because Connor plays with them.
  • She has a shoe fetish! We cannot walk past the shoe section of any store without trying on several pairs of shoes and adoring them.
  • She likes to be naked. She is always taking off her clothes.
  • Whenever we get in the car she waits for each of us to put on our seat belts. Then she says "Yeah! mommy buckle", "Yeah! daddy buckle","Yeah! Connor buckle"
  • She has a mommy, a daddy, and a brother who all love her more than words can say!

Happy Love Day!

For Valentine's day Grandma and Grandpa Robinson brought the kids a little valentine gift. Grandpa being the jokester that he is, tied their gifts to a piece of string, put them at the front door, and hid. He had grandma ring the doorbell and hide. When the kids opened the door and reached for the presents grandpa pulled them away. He did this several times until they finally spotted him. They thought it was great.
I took the kids down to the clubhouse to decorate cookies on Valentine's day.

These are some scrapbook pages that I made for the kids' books.

Six Years Down......Sixty Years To Go

Where have the last six years gone? I can't believe that Luke and I have been married that long. It has been the best six years of my life. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend.

Our anniversary fell on a Sunday this year so we celebrated the day before. I came home from running some errands in the morning and this is what I saw when I came through the door.

Luke's brother and his wife tended the kids for us while we went to dinner. We went to a steakhouse in Cedar city up the canyon. We used to go there a lot when we were dating.
After we picked up the kids we took them to get an ice cream.
On Sunday we celebrated with a delicious ice cream cake.
We had a great time celebrating the last six years. I am looking forward to many more. (I love you Luke!)

Happy Birthday Connor!

Connor turned four today. He had a Kung Fu Panda party. Here are a few things about our wonderful little four year old........
  • He is so smart!
  • He can spell and write his name. He can also spell Chloee's name.
  • He has known and recognized his numbers for quite a while now. He has his dad's and several of his grandparents phone numbers memorized and he calls them on a regular basis.
  • He knows and can recite all the days of the week.
  • He recognizes and can write probably half of the alphabet.
  • He loves anything to do with Toy Story.
  • He says the most beautiful prayers.
  • He loves to volunteer in Primary and bear his testimony in Sacrament meeting.
  • His favorite show is Phineas and Ferb on the Disney channel.
  • He is so thoughtful to his sister (most of the time)
  • He has a huge imagination. He plays very imaginatively with his toys. His toy cars are always going on some kind of adventure.
  • His favorite game is Candy Land. He played it at grandma's before he got his own for his birthday. We play it about 30 times a day.
  • He loves turkey sandwiches, strawberries, rice and beans, and anything chocolate.
  • He loves to play with his friend Alec from school.
  • He is always singing. At preschool he is the only one that can hear a song one or two times and pretty much have it memorized. He loves to sing, dance, and play music.
  • He remembers everything. He remembers things that I don't even remember from a year or two ago. Luke and I can't even have a conversation without him bringing it up later. Luke was telling me about a homeless guy that he helped in Las Vegas. I didn't think Connor was even listening. A few days later he said "Dad, tell me about that guy that didn't have a house or food." It took us a minute to know what he was even talking about.
  • He likes to watch wrestling and wrestle with his dad.
  • He is a movie junkie. He loves the classics. Tom and Jerry, Care Bears, and Land Before Time.
  • He loves his family so much and he tells us everyday. We love him and we are so lucky to have him as our little boy!

Orlando Trip

About six months ago we got a phone call from the Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Orlando Florida. They wanted us to go on a vacation and stay at their brand new resort basically for free. All we had to do was participate in a two hour tour and sales presentation. For some crazy reason we agreed. We bought our plane tickets, our rental car, and pretty much everything we needed. We planned it for January because we figured that would be the best time for Luke to get away from work. We stayed for a week and had the time of our lives. It was so much fun. the kids did a great job flying. The resort was amazing. It was a little cold while we were there but we managed. The kids loved Disneyworld. They loved to meet the characters and get their books signed. They also loved the beach. We probably could have spent the whole week at the beach looking for shells and playing in the sand. We can't wait to go back some day!

I took over nine hundred pictures during our trip. Here are a few scrapbook pages that I have done and some random pictures. I will post some more pictures when I get them a little more organized.
